A one-of-a-kind wrap around saddle-style ring which I have made from a vintage tea spoon bought in Norway to showcase the bold Gothic-style design. I estimate the original spoon was made about 100 years ago.
Shaped, filed and polished to give a beautifully comfortable fit - It will be unlike anything anyone else is wearing.
The ring was made in Norway, so is marked 830 rather than 925, that being the standard for Scandinavian silver.
Where they exist on the original piece, I always leave the makers marks and hallmarks on the ring - a wonderful highlighted as part of the design as they tell the story of the piece of jewellery. This ring has the "830" stamp from it's first life as a teaspoon.
All of my spoon rings are handmade using actual vintage cutlery. This spoon ring is started out life as a silver plated teaspoon.
